Plot
A village has no cases registered at the police station for the last few years till 1997. However, 2 deaths happen, making the police go deep into history. Did they find out the reason behind those deaths? The rest of the film showcases the police’s attempt to find out the reason for the deaths.
Star Performance
Rangayana Raghu did a wonderful job as a sincere cop. This comedy star proves his versatility in taking a serious role and excelling in it. The same goes for Ravishankar Gowda. He fits well in the role and does a decent job. The rest of the actors have provided what was required of them.
Analysis
The non-linear pattern of storytelling adds depth to the story and stay true to its genre. However, the director has taken too much time to establish the story and characters. Though the first half is slow, the second half is interestingly shot. The art director should be appreciated for the set-up of the late 90s. The visuals are good, and the editing is quite decent. The BGM gels well in investigation scenes.
